Another clue from Simeon Deyo:
"Dr. Jonathan Bangs was an early physician of Harwich, residing in that part of the town now Brewster. He was the son of Captain Edward Bangs of Harwich, and was born in 1706. He was in practice in the town as early as 1731. He died December 7, 1745, after three weeks of sickness, aged 39 years. He married widow Phebe Bangs, January 4, 1732-3, and left one son, Allen."
