January 2007 Board Game & Card Party
Neighborhood Center: 1617 49th Street South Gulfport Florida; Cheese, crackers and soda available

Cut off date for Team Captains for this event is Wednesday 10 January 2007. RoseMarie is the hostess. Special invitation to the Townshores Group to join us.

February 2007 Derby Lanes meet at Clubhouse entrance at 11:15 AM, wear your red hat to get in free. Lunch buffet is $9.95 plus tax, beverage and tip is extra. There may be a few stairs to negotiate and valet parking is free but give a tip. The racing program is $1.50 and the cut off date to make a reservation is February 9th so please let your team captains know if you are attending or not. Chris is the hostess. If you need a ride let your Captain know and we will make arrangements to meet you at the Senior Citizens Center.

Red Hat Society 4th Annual Red Hat Gala Saturday March 10 2007 from 10:3-am - 4 pm. A La Carte Event Pavilion, 4050 Dana Shores Drive, Tampa Florida. Money must be sent to Bev by February 15th 2007 in order to attend. Tickets are $40.00. A three course luncheon is offered. Both selections will begin with a Salad of Mixed Field Greens, Plum Tomoatoes, Feta Cucumbers and white balsamic Vinaigrette (on the side) and end with Bittersweet Chocolate Mousse with Mised Berry sauce. Beverages of water, iced tea and coffee service is included. Please choose one of the following: (1) Pan seared tilapia with pecan brown butter, caper berries, roasted garlic mashed potatoes and saulteed seasoned vegetables (2) Herb crusted chicken breast and creamy polenta with walnuts, sauteed seasonal vegetables. Two cash bars will be available and include appropriate soft beverages, wine, mixed drinks and bottled water. Drinks will not be served table side. If you need a ride let your Captain know and we will make arrangements to meet you at the Senior Citizens Center.

March 2007 Bingo at Disston Plaza 23 March 2007 from 12-4pm. 522-1124 3455 49th St SCut off date for Team Captains is 16 March 2007. Diston Plaza is on 49th Street North at 38th Avenue North in St Petersburg. In the Plaza also is BonWorth's, Beals, and Hospice. The Bingo is on the side strip mall to the right of the Publix on the end same side as Subway. Optional going to dinner together. Sue Ann is the Hostess. If you need a ride let your Captain know and we will make arrangements to meet you at the Senior Citizens Center.

Pink Flamingo Home Tours Saturday March 24th in Gulfport. Greeters are on a volunteer basis and this is not a scheduled Red Hat event but if you do volunteer the tour is free and also a luncheon special will be designated with a special price for anyone appearing in a red hat outfit. Greeters only have to volunteer for two hours. The luncheon place is to be announced.

April 29 2007 Sunday, 1:15 pm: 70 Girls 70 at the St Petersburg Little Theatre 4025 31st Street South. Feisty retirees dress up their hotel by becoming a ring of unlikely thieves. Tickets are $18.00 group rate. Deadline is April 20th. Optional after the theatre going to dinner. Dee is the hostess. please mail your checks to Bev payable to Red Hot Beachnuts. Ask your Team Captain for Bev's address if you don't have it. If you need a ride let your Captain know and we will make arrangements to meet you at the Senior Citizens Center.

May 2007 May 17th 2007 1-3pm Tea Party at Seabreeze Manor Bed & Breakfast 5701 Shore Blvd South Gulfport FL. Please let your team Captain know if you can or can not attend by the 10th of May. A pretty tea cup and saucer is required with a tea bag inside. NO MUGS!! Also a small scroll with a note about yourself and how you came to join the Red Hats, rolled up with a ribbon and placed in the cup with the tea bag and then placed in a gift bag with tissue paper on top. There will be finger sandwiches and dessert plus TEA of course! Please bring your check for the HELLO DOLLY EVENT IN JULY. If you need a ride let your Captain know and we will make arrangements to meet you at the Senior Citizens Center.

Thursday June 28th Caddy’s at Sunset Beach 900 West Gulf Blvd 360-4993 Lunch at 11:30. Sue is the hostess. Your team Captain must hear from you by June 21st. If you need a ride let your Captain know and we will make arrangements to meet you at the Senior Citizens Center.

Friday July 20th 5 PM Hello Dolly at Ruth Eckerd Hall. Money by May 17th for $23.00. Going to Quaker Stake & Lube before the Play for dinner. Someone from the audience will be selected to be in the parade at the end of the first act. You must wear a Big Red Hat to be in this event (optional). If you need a ride let your Captain know and we will make arrangements to meet you at the Senior Citizens Center.

August 21st Tuesday Pizza & Pipes. Pizza and Italian food. We are chartering the Red Hat Bus to take us there. RoseMarie is the hostess. PLEASE NOTE: Be at the Senior Center BEFORE 2:30pm. The bus will leave without you! We will be leaving the Senior Center in Gulfport at 2:30 PM and return at 8:00 PM. It will cost $10.00 per person to ride the bus and then the cost of your food and beverage. Please let your team captain know if you will attend or not by August 14th.

September 25th Tuesday Starlight Cruise boarding is at 11:30 AM. PLEASE NOTE: Be at the dock BEFORE 11:30 AM. The boat will leave without you! The cost to board the boat for a two hour cruise is $12.50 per person. Lunch is extra from $7.95 to $12.50. Chris is the hostess. Please let your team captain know if you will attend or not BEFORE September 18th. Your money MUST be sent by check to Chris before September 18th if you are planning on going. Please make checks payable to RED HOT BEACH NUTS in the amount of $12.50. If you need a ride let your Captain know and we will make arrangements to meet you at the Senior Citizens Center.



October 25th Thursday Ghost Lady 12:30 PM - 4 PM at Neighborhood Center: 1617 49th Street South Gulfport Florida. PLEASE NOTE: Be at the Neighborhood Center before 1pm. The Ghost Lady will only talk for a half an hour at 1 sharp and will begin without you! Sue is the Hostess. Costumes are optional, but you must have RED and PURPLE somewhere on your body to attend in Honor of the Red Hat Society (this is true for all events). Each team is responsible for one game. This is a potluck lunch. Please bring FOOD! There will also be a flea market for red hat items only. Please make sure they are clean, in good condition and priced with your name and amount. There will be prizes for the best costume, a door prize and prizes for each game. Please let your team Captain know if you will be attending by October 18th. If you need a ride let your Captain know and we will make arrangements to meet you at the Senior Citizens Center.

November 15th Thursday shopping trip to Tarpon Springs We are taking the Red Hat Charter Bus and the cost is $12.50 per person. PLEASE NOTE: Be at the Senior Center BEFORE 10:00 am. The bus will leave without you! We will leave from the Senior Citizens center in Gulfport at 10 AM and return by 5:30 PM. Please let your team captain know if you will attend or not BEFORE November 8th. Your money MUST be sent by check to Dee before November 8th if you are planning on going. Please make checks payable to RED HOT BEACH NUTS in the amount of $12.50. We will have a Tea Party at Carol's boutiki-Hut in Tarpon Springs shortly upon arrival. There are restaurants close by for those who are not able to walk far. Dee is the Hostess. Please let your team Captain know if you will be attending by 8th of November.

December 12th Wednesday Christmas Party and Gift Exchange 12 Noon We are going to the Wine Cellar at 17307 Gulf Blvd, North Reddington Beach, FL 33708, 393-3491. Bev is the Hostess. The Lunch will be $24.00 which must be received by December 3rd. Please send your checks to: Bev before December 3rd payable to the Red Hot Beach Nuts in the amount of $24.00. More details below. The Gift exchange is a limit of $5.00 but NO Candy, nuts or mugs PLEASE. If you need a ride let your Captain know and we will make arrangements to meet you at the Senior Citizens Center.

1. Sirloin Steak with mushroom bordelaise sauce and cristy onions with red bliss potato and fresh vegetables.
2. Chicken marsala linguini and vegetable.
3. Herb crusted salmon, parsley boiled ptato and fresh vegetable.

Dessert selection:
1. Chocolate Mousse
2. Apple Strudel
Potted Coffee and Carafes of Iced tea on tables and a cash bar.
