Introduction

The following gravestone transcriptions of the Carmyllie Parish Churchyard were compiled by Bob Duncan in 1999.  At the time Bob was working as an electrical engineer for Arthur G. Russell Ltd in Arbroath, Angus, which was reorganized in the year 2000 as AGR Automation  Ltd, a medical supply company.

Mr. Duncan stated in a message posted, July 6, 1999, To ANGUS-Rootsweb message board: "To you and to the whole list - please go ahead and make whatever use you want of the reports I have sent in,  and if I can add  anything further please ask."  Attempts to contact Bob Duncan have failed due to an outdated email address.

Bob Duncan shared his vast knowledge of the Tayside region with fellow researchers on the ANGUS-Rootsweb Message Board. His contributions to the ANGUS message board assisted people world wide in their search of Scottish ancestors.
